Me, Ski Patroller Julie

I joined the National Ski Patrol in 2006, challenging OEC in November of 2005, and completing Senior Alpine Patroller requirements in 2012.  From the very beginning of my patrol career I have been actively giving back via teaching, mentoring, leading, encouraging, and being involved.

  • 2011-2015- Elected Patrol Representative and Chair, Board of Directors
    • improved morale
    • increased visibility of Hidden Valley within region and division
    • influential in greatly increasing numbers of HV patrollers seeking continuing education opportunities at region, division, and national clinics
  • 2009-2011- Member (elected) Hidden Valley Board of Directors
    • completed mentoring booklet used by candidates for several years
